GA Peach Festival – 6/2-3 in Fort Valley, 6/10 in Byron!

The annual Georgia Peach Festival is happening in downtown Fort Valley on June 2-3 AND in downtown Byron on June 10! The festival is a shared event between the two towns, featuring not just live music and vendors but also the World’s Largest Peach Cobbler!

It always lands in June, which is when peach season really starts to ramp up. Peach County is the heart of the central region with about 1.6 million peach trees yielding about 100 million bushels every year, or 75 percent of the whole state’s production! (So yeah, that’s worth having a festival over!)

The festival is a celebration of peach growers and Georgia’s beautiful orchards. It includes numerous events and activities scheduled to honor Peach Growers and showcase Fort Valley and Byron.

Here’s the schedule of events, and you can check out their website here for more info:

We hope you can make it to this year’s Georgia Peach Festival! It’s sure to be a fun time for everyone.
