Leaving his rural South Georgia roots for college, little did Luke Christian know that a Tex-Mex empire was in his future. Fast forward to 2007, and Luke opened his first Surcheros in Douglas, GA, serving up big tastes and bold flavors with a side of good ol’ Southern warmth.
Word spread like wildfire, even hotter than their salsa – Surcheros was a homegrown hit! They began franchising in 2017.
Since then, Surcheros Fresh Mex has been on a mission to bring that delicious Tex-Mex magic to communities across South Georgia, Florida, and beyond. With its heart in the South, the franchise is now set to conquer the Atlanta Metro and the broader Southeast.
The journey led to the relocation of the corporate headquarters to Alpharetta, GA, where a flagship restaurant proudly opened its doors on South Main Street in May 2022. Now, with 26 thriving locations in the Southeast and more on the horizon for communities in Florida, North Georgia, and South Carolina, Surcheros is on the cusp of something truly special.
