HoCo, your Wednesday Fair plan has a useful little plot twist: the admission deal isn’t hiding in an online checkout. You get it at the gate! 🎟️
On Wednesday, October 14, 2026, the Georgia National Fair in Perry lists admission at $10 for ages 11 and older, with children 10 and younger getting in free. The Fair calls it WOW Wednesday, and discounted admission is available only at the gate! 📅
That’s entry, not a magic pass for everything your family spots inside. Ride armbands cost extra, and they don’t cover the Euroslide, Georgia Wheel, Agri-Lift or non-mechanical rides. Check the exclusions before you buy! 🎡
The Fairgrounds address is 401 Larry Walker Parkway in Perry. Public parking is free at the North, East and West gates; the South Gate isn’t available for general-public parking or entry. Pick one of the public gates before the car fills with “are we there yet?”! 🅿️
Give your bag a quick check, too! The Fair requires clear bags no bigger than 12 by 6 by 12 inches. Exceptions include diaper bags, bags holding carry-in items for infants or medical reasons, and wallet-sized or smaller bags. All bags can be inspected. Your everyday tote may need the night off. 🎒
If you’re arriving after 5 p.m., visitors 17 and younger must enter with a legal guardian. A cheaper ticket doesn’t change that rule! 👪
The published gate hours are 10 a.m.–9 p.m. Those are gate hours, so don’t read them as a promise about when every ride runs. A little clock-checking belongs in the Fair plan, too! 🕙
Before you head out, check the Fair’s official pricing and policies for changes. Then keep the two budgets straight: getting through the gate and whatever you choose once you’re inside. Wednesday’s bargain starts at the entrance! 💵
